Angel Falls (Spanish: Salto Angel) is the highest falls in the world, Angel Falls is located in Venezuela, and a height of 979 meters.
It was described for the first time by Venezuelan explorer Ernesto Sanchez la Cruz in 1912, but he did not publish his discovery, therefore the world did not know the angel falls only in 1933, and at the hands of the pilot James Angel, who gave his name to the waterfalls.
Ironically, the word Angel means an angel, while the name given indigenous people of the Falls was the devil's mouth.
